Research

Latin American literature and cultural studies, especially the relationship between literature and the socio-political.

My thesis explores representations of contemporary Chilean society and the political status of women in Chilean post-transition to democracy literature, through a study of the novels of Diamela Eltit and Alberto Fuguet.

Teaching

Spanish all levels; Latin American literature and cultural studies; Women, gender and society in Latin America.
