Research

Jim Reed’s research interests are in German literature, history and ideas from the eighteenth century to the present. Principal authors: Goethe, Schiller, Kant, Heine, Thomas Mann.

German language and literature; special interests in 18th- to 20th-century literature, history, and history of ideas; authors: Goethe, Schiller, Heine, Nietzsche, Thomas Mann.
