Research

Sarah Roger's field of research is comparative literature, with a focus on Spanish America. Her doctoral dissertation was on the influence of Franz Kafka on Jorge Luis Borges, and she has published on Borges's translation theory. She is also interested in Spanish American cultural studies, gauchesque literature, and links between Spanish American literature and other world literatures.

 

Teaching

Modern Spanish American literature; papers VIII and XI for the Final Honours School in Spanish.
