PhD in Humanistic Studies with summa cum laude, MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, BA in Hispanic Studies (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Spain), both with First Class Honors. 


His main research interests are Spanish Language Teaching, Pedagogical Lexicography and Teaching-Learning Vocabulary. He is Associate Editor of the International Journal of Foreign Languages – RILE. His international research and teaching experience goes through long-term stays in the University of Aarhus (Denmark) and in Shenzhen Polytechnic University (China). He is a member of the research group “Lexicografía, Diacronía y ELE” (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and participated in the project “Diccionario de español para aprendices sinohablantes (fase primera)” (FFI2016-76417-P).


He is currently teaching First Year Oral, First Year Grammar and Prose, Second Year Developing Language Skills, Second Year Prose and Final Year Writing Skills at the Sub-faculty of Spanish.

Previously, he has been involved in Spanish Language Teaching and Linguistic Assistance from different perspectives: He has been teacher of Spanish in a wide variety of courses at the Center for Hispanic Studies of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain) for 5 years and he has served as Spanish Language Assessor (Proofreading and Translation) at the Language Service of the same university for almost 3 years. At the same time, he has been collaborating as an official examiner and as a creator of DELE exams for the Instituto Cervantes.
