Research
My research focuses on contemporary Spanish literature, with a particular emphasis on memory, trauma and exile. For my doctoral thesis I examined the role of memory and self-representation in the works of Jorge Semprún. Currently, I am exploring the interaction between memory and fiction in recent novels by Javier Cercas, Javier Marías and Antonio Muñoz Molina.
Teaching
