Howard Jones's main research interests are Old and Middle High German and the semantics of verbs in the Germanic languages. He is currently working on an Introduction to Middle High German (with Martin Jones) to be published by OUP.

Teaching

Howard Jones teaches the history of German, particularly Old High German and Middle High German, as well as the linguistics of present-day German.
