I am a second year DPhil student studying Renaissance French poetry. I read for my undergraduate and MPhil degrees in Modern Languages, and early modern European literature respectively at the University of Cambridge, before moving to France where I taught English language and literature for three years, first as a lectrice at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris, and then as a teacher in a secondary school. I moved back to the UK to pursue my studies here in Oxford. My studies are generously funded by AHRC and Clarendon scholarships in partnership with Christ Church College.
