Having completed a BA and MSt in Modern Languages (German) at Oxford, I am currently completing my DPhil at Lincoln College. My research focuses on the novels of Klaus Mann and concepts of failure, and is supported with full funding from the Open-Oxford-Cambridge Doctoral Training Partnership, the Clarendon Fund, and All Souls College.

I hold Stipendiary Lectureships at Lincoln College and St Edmund Hall and teach undergraduate translation classes and tutorials on modern and contemporary German literature.
