Emily Di Dodo
I completed my BA and MSt in Modern Languages (Italian and Spanish) at Magdalen College, where I am now on my way to completing my DPhil. My thesis will be a critical edition of the medieval Castilian translation of Boccaccio’s Decameron, following the Neolachmannian method of textual criticism as laid out by Alberto Blecua in his Manual de crítica textual (1982).
My research interests include medieval and early-modern Spanish and Italian literature, textual criticism, historical linguistics, history of the book and palaeography.
