The film tells the story of Angelita Pérez, one of nearly 3,000 Spanish children exiled to the Soviet Union during the Spanish Civil War. Sent away at the age of four, Angelita grew up in Russian boarding schools, remaining there until she completed her medical studies in Moscow. Through a deeply personal lens, the film explores themes of resilience, identity, memory, and the enduring bond between mother and daughter.
