Modern Greek studies in the 21st century: A Cultural analysis network and conference

Nikos PanayotopoulosThe conference “Modern Greek Studies in the 21st Century: Perspectives and Practices in Cultural Analysis”, is taking place in Oxford on 31 January — 1 February 2020. The first of a series of events, it launches a partnership between the universities of Oxford and Amsterdam, and particularly the programmes in Modern Greek Studies of both universities, which we hope will expand in the future.

 The event will be preceded by a pre-conference special lecture, given by Professor Maria Boletsi (University of Amsterdam / Leiden University) ‘Οn Ghost Ships, Conjurations, and Broken Promises: C.P. Cavafy’s Poetics of the Spectral’
