Patrick McGuinness spoke at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last week to close their exhibition of the Swiss-French painter Félix Vallotton. The exhibition was shown last year at the Royal Academy of Arts, and Patrick's essay – 'Vallotton and fin de siècle France' – is part of the exhibition catalogue.
