Cameron Etherton (Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford) and Eve Judah (Newnham, Cambridge) have been awarded a generous grant by the Society for French Studies. They will use the funds to organise an international conference at the Maison Française d’Oxford this July. The conference is titled 'Witnessing the World Otherwise: Testimony, Community, and the (Post-)Human’.

Cameron and Eve write, "We’d like to warmly thank the Society for French Studies for their generosity, as well as the Maison Française d’Oxford who have been kind enough to offer a space for the conference, and the faculty’s Director of Graduate Studies Professor Catriona Seth for her support and advice. This event represents a fantastic opportunity to bring scholars from various disciplines together to think in tandem about how questions of testimony and community bear on our current moment."
